Chris Hornung, Owner/CEO

After collecting and researching vintage football equipment for over 10 years, in 2015, Chris Hornung launched AntiqueFootball.com, the internet's premier vintage football equipment research resource. Since the launch, Chris has written and posted dozens of articles on football equipment evolution and has provided research information to and acquired artifacts for national museums and motion picture studios. Utilizing a collection of over 200 vintage football manufacturer catalogs, Chris has developed the Vintage Football Helmet Classification Chart, the hobby's only comprehensive tool for classifying and dating vintage football helmets. Chris has a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech, and lives in Fredericksburg, Virginia with his wife and two children.
